She is the daughter of Lorraine Pascale, a television cook and model, and Count Kazimierz Balinski-Jundzill, a musician. Her father is of Polish and English origin. Her mother was born in London, to Jamaican parents, and was adopted, by Audrey and Roger Woodward.

She played county level netball and competed in track and field at a national level,[5] having been the javelin thrower for Team London.

Trained in the use of 12 weapons (13 including fists) at the Academy of Performance Combat, with weapons such as knife, single sword, double sword, gladius, axel shield use, broadsword, short staff and long staff.
